Happy Monday Everyone!
We are having a wonderful week at home sleeping in and Christmas was wonderful this year. Our family is so great! We are so blessed to have a so many people to celebrate with. The kids were so fun and they are at great ages to make Christmas so magical. One of my favorite parts is watching my parents light up from the joy of our kids. It takes me back to when I was young... Such happy memories.... and now I get to create them for my kids.
Here are a few hellos for this week.....

Instafriday
Happy Friday Everyone! I am linking up with jeannette and Life Rearranged. Here is our week through instagram pics....
This poor little one started out the week sick with a really bad sinus and ear infection. She is finally starting to feel a little better and went to her PJ and Popcorn day at preschool! She has been sick so much since she started school. I guess we have to build up the immunity at some point right?
I could just eat this little guy up! He keeps telling me that he is my number one fan. How can I argue with that??? It's his turn... He is down and out today and going to the doctor. We are supposed to see Disney on Ice tonight... We'll see!
Forts ALWAYS make things better though!!!
On Wednesday night we went to the Lights Before Christmas at the Toledo Zoo. SO AWESOME! We go every year. If you are in the area it is a MUST see! We spent as much time indoors looking at the model trains as we did out watching the dancing lights. Grandma and Papa always join us too! It's the best!
This will be my last post until after Christmas. Have a great holiday everyone. Take some time to relish in and truly enjoy the magic of the holiday season. Seasons Greetings!

What I Wore Wednesday
Okay, so I have to come clean about this week. I now understand why WIWW is so hard! For me it isn't getting ready in the mornings... It is remembering to take pictures through out the week! Anyways, here is my very under par first what I wore Wednesday.
I should tell you that I am not the most creative with my outfits, nor to I ever spend a ton of money on them. I do like to accessorize with scarves, necklaces and earrings though....

Help in the fight for gun control....
I was sent a link to this website late last night. I am not usually someone who passes along things like this, but the wounds are still really fresh. I do understand that people support the NRA for the right reasons, but hopefully even you out there will understand and help make a change. Please take some time to read the petition and sign in it if you support it. Then pass it along to anyone who may be interested. Don't you think that it is time to make this world a better place?

Hello Monday
Hello Monday! It was a busy weekend baking cookies, finishing up on last minute Christmas shopping, and visiting some family in Cleveland. We went for a walk in the woods yesterday and we all had such a great time! The kids are in another world when we are out in nature. We love it!
Hello last week of school before a big long holiday break. PJ party on Thursday YAY!
Hello presents that sit here ready to wrap.
Hello kids who are so excited for Santa and Christmas...They can hardly stand it. Children make the season so magical.
Hello Christmas cookies, why do you have to be so good???
Goodbye to a great weekend filled with family. It was much needed... We can't wait to see you for the holidays...
What do you have left to do?
I just want to take a moment today and write out my thoughts about the Connecticut Tragedy... My deepest thoughts go out to the community and the families that have lost their little ones and friends. My husband and I have spent all weekend trying to wrap our heads around what has happened. It was unthinkable that someone could have so much evil in them that they would ever be able to come up with a plan like this. My husband and I have not watched any of the news or read any of the story in the paper. Family members and friends want to talk about it and we have to stop them. For my husband and I and for our family it hits way too close to home. We have little ones who are 5, 3, and 9 months and my husband is a middle school teacher. For us this situation is totally possible and it shakes us to the core. We are lucky our children are young enough to go on with their days without the stinging heartache and worry that follows us around. I feel for everyone who has to try to explain to their children so that they understand, when we as adults can't understand what has happened. I guess that all we do from here is pray for the families, pray for peace, hug our kids a little tighter, and put your faith in God. It will be so hard when I take my son and daughter to school today. It has always been hard to leave them, but today it will be different... My thoughts and prayers will continue to be in Connecticut and with the families who have children who are in fear and who just don't understand....

My LNC Designs Shop
These Carousel Clips are my go to for when I need a quick accessory for my hair our outfit. These clips are great for children and adults. I use them in my daughters hair to finish off a ponytail or I will add them to an elastic headband. I wear them to finish off a bun and often times I add them to a long necklace and they make a great embellishment. These clips are also available in smaller sizes. Both sizes really work well for everyone! You can check out my carousel clips here and my Little One Carousel Clips here!
I also have Weekly Planning Boards that are great for everyone. I use mine as a dinner menu board. Our family is busy and works best if we have everything planned out ahead of time. It keeps us from getting take out all of the time. I am held accountable when I look at the wall and see what we are supposed to be eating for dinner. It also makes grocery shopping easier too! These also work great as a homework planner or a daily activities board. These planners can sit on a counter/table or hang on the wall. Check them out, with these boards the possibilities are endless.
Family Rules Boards are such a great way to display what is important in your family. These colorful boards also make great decor for your walls. Check these out in the shop as well.
I just added a new product to the shop today. carousel headbands are a great way to add style to an everyday ponytail. Just like the carousel clips they are great for all ages even women. I wear them to dress up my ponytail and sometimes wear them alone with my hair down.
Right now all of the items in my shop are 10% off through the month of December. Just enter code FROSTY10. This offer is good through December 31st @ 12 midnight EST. Domestic orders only.
All of these items make great stocking stuffers and gifts!

The Story Behind Ginkgo Street
Welcome to Ginkgo Street. I am Lisa Carney and I am the happy Mommy to three little ones 5 and under and married to the most supportive, loving husband on the planet. I am a stay at home mom who enjoys running, playing with my kids, and anything chocolate. I also am the creator of LNC Designs my online etsy shop. www.etsy.com/shop/LNCDesigns My shop is where I can create products and put my creative juices to the test. I am also the writer behind this new blog.
So you may be thinking why Ginkgo Street?
It's very simple. When I created my blog, I wanted a name that was creative and meaningful at the same time. So here is how I came up with Ginkgo Street. We have a little block that we walk with our kids almost everyday of the year. It is a small block in our neighborhood that leads us to a big hill that they love to ride their bikes and run down. Every fall when the leaves change we go on leaf walks and challenge the kids to see what kind of leaves they can find. On one of our walks a couple of years ago, our son Shawn found a leaf he had never seen before. It was a ginkgo leaf, and above him a Ginkgo tree. Ginkgo trees aren't all that common in Northwest Ohio, so it came as a sweet surprise to us. Ever since that day we watch the ginkgo bud in the spring, leaf in the summer and change in the fall. It is exciting every Autumn when the ginkgo leaves fall because it is one of the first around here to loose it's leaves. We call the street where the ginkgo tree lives "Ginkgo Street..." So here it is...
Take a seat and stick around awhile. You will get to know a lot about LNC Designs, our family and our SUPER crazy life. Take a look through the shop and let me know what you think. It would be great to hear from you!
